How to Show One Best-Matching Product per Collection (Slots) on Quiz Result Page

This guide will show you how to use the Add Best Match from Collection (Slots) feature on your quiz result page. It allows you to display one best-matching product from each collection based on the user’s answers. This is a great way to recommend a complete routine without overwhelming the user with too many options.

For example:
In a skincare quiz, you can show the best-matching moisturizer, serum, sunscreen, and eye cream — each pulled from different collections, based on what the user needs.

In a fitness quiz, you can recommend the top water bottle, yoga mat, gym bag, and t-shirt — based on the user’s fitness style and preferences.

Try this demo quiz with the Slots feature.

Let’s see how it works!

1. Go to the Result Page settings
Open your quiz in the editor and go to the Result Page section from the left panel.

2. Enable “Add Best Match from Collection”
From the right-side Result Page settings, enable the option called “Add Best Match from Collection”. This allows you to add product slots to your result page — each slot shows the best-matching product from a specific collection.

You can add up to 4 slots to display different product types, like a cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen, and more.

3. Configure the Slot: Title, Description, and Collection
After adding a slot, you can customize it by writing a title and a short description that will appear above the product. Then, choose the collection you want this slot to pull products from.

Example:
Title: Your Perfect Moisturizer
Description: Based on your skin type, this is the best pick for you.
Collection: Moisturizers

Repeat this for each slot you add.

Optional Settings

  • Hide Products on Result Page
If you only want to display the selected slots and hide all other matched products, enable the “Hide Products on Result Page” option in the result page settings.

  • Show All Possible Products
Enable this option if you want to make sure that each slot will display at least one product that matches any of the user’s selected answers. This helps avoid empty slots when there’s no exact match from the collection.
