Getting Started: How to Get Your API Key from Omnisend #
1. First, make sure you have an Omnisend account. If you don’t, you can sign up here. If you already have one, log in to your Omnisend dashboard.
2. Once logged in, click on the Store Settings section located at the bottom of the left-side panel.
3. Find the API section in the menu and click on it.
4. Click the Create API Key button, give your key a name (e.g., “Recomma Quiz Integration”), and make sure to grant all permissions. Then click the Create API Key button again at the bottom-right to confirm.
5. Your API key will now be generated. Make sure to copy and store it somewhere safe, as this is the only time you’ll be able to see it.

How to Connect Omnisend to Recomma Quiz Builder #
1. Go back to your Recomma Dashboard and open the Integrations section from the main menu.
2. Find Omnisend, and paste your generated API key into the field provided and click Connect.
3. Now, go to the quiz settings of the quiz you want to link with Omnisend.
4. Open the Integrations tab, find Omnisend, and check the box labeled Create Omnisend Contact. This ensures that leads from this specific quiz are automatically sent to your Omnisend account.
Reminder: Make sure your quiz includes an Email question type — it’s required for leads to be captured.
You can also include Phone and Name question types; their data will be stored and sent to Omnisend as well. However, Email is mandatory for the integration to work.
