Getting Started: How to get your API Keys #
1. First, you need a Klaviyo account. If you don’t have one yet, please sign up here. If you already have an account, log in via this link to proceed.
2. Once you’ve logged into your Klaviyo dashboard, click on your account icon and then go to Settings.
3. Next, navigate to the API Keys section, where you’ll find your Public API Key.
4. Below, you’ll see the Private API Keys section. Click on the Create Private API Key button.
5. Give your Private API Key a name, ensure you select Full Access Key as the Access Level, and then save it. It will generate and display your API Key. This is the only time the private API Key will be visible, so make sure to copy it now.
How to Connect Klaviyo to Recommenda Quiz Builder #
To link Klaviyo with Recommenda Quiz Builder, simply paste your API keys into the Recommenda settings. Follow the steps below to complete that process smoothly.
1. Go back to Recommenda Dashboard and head to Integration section from the menu bar. Enter your Public API Key and the recently created Private API Key into the provided fields, then click Connect.
2. After successfully connecting Klaviyo, go to the given quiz settings whose leads you want to link to Klaviyo. Open the Integrations tab, select the Klaviyo list where you’d like to add your leads, and save the changes.
Remember, don’t forget to include an email question type in your quiz to capture quiz takers’ emails.
